Graduate
Courses: Biblical Studies
Division
of Biblical and Theological Studies
The administration
and faculty at Brewer Christian College and Graduate School
truly believe that “All Scripture is God-breathed and is
useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training
in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly
equipped for every good work.” (II Timothy 3:16&17,
NIV). At Brewer Christian College and Graduate School,
the Word of God is the foundation of each program of study.
All students pursuing an undergraduate degree are required
to complete a major in Bible consisting of a foundational
core of 29-44 semester credit hours of Bible and theology,
and 39 hours of Bible and Theology based professional studies.
We believe that every student should complete a Biblical
Studies major for the following reasons:
- We
affirm the Divine inspiration, truthfulness, and authority
of both the Old and New Testament scriptures, in their
entirety, and the only written Word of God, without error
in all that it affirms, and the only infallible rule
of life, faith, and practice.
- We
affirm the power of God’s word to accomplish His purpose
of salvation. The message of the Bible is addressed to
all mankind, for God’s revelation in Christ and in Scripture
is unchangeable. Through it, the Holy Spirit still speaks
today. He illuminates the minds of God’s people in every
culture to preserve its truth freshly through their own
eyes
- The
Bible provides the foundation for effective and powerful
service to God through vocation in the Church and in
the world.
- The
Bible provides an individual with a standard for living
a Godly and purpose filled life.
