Although Brewer Christian College
does not currently offer credit for life experience, we
will work with you and your previous colleges to make sure
you receive the maximum amount of transfer credit possible.
Certain applicants who have
not completed a BA or BS degree may qualify for the Masters
of Theological Studies program if they can verify 10 years
or more of full time ministry experience, and a considerable
amount of completed and verified undergraduate course work.
Each individual is reviewed by our
staff
and
examined on
a case by case basis. Additional information may be requested
by the BCC staff, including references and verification
by employers. The information will then be presented to
the academic dean for final approval. Generally, a minimum
of 120 hrs of undergraduate work is required. Military
experience and
formal, documented
church and/or denominational training is also considered.
All students, regardless of
previous transfer credit, must take a minimum of 30 hours
from Brewer Christian College to receive a degree from
our
institution.
