101: Biblical and Historical Foundations of Worship I:
Part one of a two course study of the theology,
institutions, and
practice of worship in Scripture, this course explores
the ways in which Biblical models can inspire worship
renewal today.

Part two of a two course study of the theology,
institutions, and
practice of worship in Scripture, this course explores
the ways in which Biblical models can inspire worship
renewal today.

310: Music and the Arts in Worship: This course
is designed to assist students in thinking critically
about effective
worship design as well as music and other arts in worship.
In light of the current dramatic changes and flux in
worship practices throughout the world, it is more
important than ever for worship leaders to establish
biblical and theological grounding for their decisions
related to worship renewal through music and the arts.
In addition, this course will introduce students to
fresh and creative ways to enhance the Christian community’s
worship of God through the utilization of various art
forms that are appropriate to one’s context.

408: Psalms, Hymn and Spiritual Songs: Briefly
covers the history of Biblical songwriting and examines
the
role of song writing in the history of the church.
Students are then given hands on instruction for song
writing and composition. Guest speakers include noted
contemporary Christian music artists.
