Studying worship studies at Brewer Christian College
will provide you with the tools needed to build
a Christ centered program at your church or para-church
ministry. With real life worship pastors and professionals
as mentors, our program will work with your local
church or ministry to help you become the "equipped" minister
that God has called you to be.

Program Objectives
These objectives build on the Biblical and Theological
Studies division primary objectives:
1. Students will gain an understanding into the
meaning of scripture by applying sound hermeneutics
and the necessary exegetical tools and concepts
to explore its contents and use their discoveries
to develop a sound theological system of its teachings:
2. Students will become proficient in personal
Bible study by mastering the tools required for
the task.
3. Students will become motivated Children of God
who are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit
and serve the Lord Jesus through daily prayer,
Bible study, corporate worship, and demonstrate
the Fruits of the Spirit in their daily lives.
4. Students will be able to use the standard found
in the Bible as a basis for critical and logical
decision making.
5. Students will be equipped to share the hope
found in Christ with a lost and dying world in
order to effectively communicate the Gospel of
Salvation.
6. In preparation for worship ministry, students
will become knowledgeable in the key areas as outlined
by Jesus in the Great Commission of Matthew 28,
evangelism and discipleship.
7. Worship Studies students will gain hands on,
mentored experience in real world ministry situations
in their local church or ministry situation.
8. Worship Studies students will become knowledgeable
in the basics of worship and music ministry, including
the Biblical and historical foundations of why
we worship and the practical aspects of leading
a worship service.
9. Worship Studies students will learn the importance
of servant leadership, with the model of Christ
as the ultimate example.
