The Dr. Colleen Steinke Memorial Scholarship Announced:

In honor of the original founder of The Kaleo Institute at Brewer Christian College, BCC is excited to announce the newly established Dr. Colleen Steinke Memorial Scholarship. Dr. Colleen was the original founder of Victory in Jesus Ministries, developing what would eventually become The Kaleo Institute at Brewer Christian College as the educational arm of her missionary outreach. Brewer Christian College Student Debra Wenger Ordained

Heritage Christian Center of Ottawa and Peoria announced the ordination of the Rev. Debra Lynn Wenger into World Evangelism Fellowship on April 22, during an Easter Campmeeting Good Friday service.

This event took place in Baton Rouge, La., at Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. Her husband, the Rev. Jon M. Wenger, and daughter, Ashley Smith Gonzales, were in attendance.

Wenger earned an associate degree in marketing from Illinois Valley Community College and a bachelor's degree in theology, minoring in Christian education, from Brewer Christian College. Wenger will continue to assist her husband with ministry duties at the church...see entire story at mywebtimes.com

Our host: The Spirit of Life Lutheran Church at 2636 New Berlin Rd, Jacksonville, Florida 32226 will be hosting our graduation ceremony at 7pm, graduates should arrive at 6pm.  Then we will travel to Dr. Ken and MJs home for the annual Christmas party. 

The graduation will be filled with student music, a dance dedicated to the loving memory of Dr. Colleen, a moving message from BCC president Dr. Ken and more.  The Christmas party is a fun evening filled with food, music, laughs and much, much more.  You will love both events, I promise!

BCC Chapel Program Celebrates Fourth Year

JACKSONVILLE, FL- The Brewer Christian College Online Chapel program will celebrate it's fourth birthday in September 2009. The program has grown in every way since the inception in September of 2005. Look for some special online chapel events in the months leading up to the third year birthday celebration.

Brewer Begins Online Chapel Program
Starting on September 16, 2005, Brewer Christian College will present our first online, corporate worship service! Students, faculty, staff and alumni will be invited to watch the brief (5-10 minute) video exhortation by a member of Brewer's faculty or staff, then they will be directed over to the message boards to post a thoughtful response to the Word of God.

The chapel services will be weekly during our virtual semesters (more information about these to come) and participation will be mandatory for every student who is currently enrolled in the school. The chapel services will be posted for an entire week from the first date that they are offered, and you can watch and respond any time during the week (even at 2am if that is all your schedule allows!) Our goal is to build the Kingdom of God by encouraging you personally as a student and building the community within Brewer Christian College and Graduate School.

Virtual Semester Plan
Brewer Christian College and Graduate School continually strives to provide the greatest online educational experience possible. With the continual growth of our college student body and faculty we are excited to announce the beginning of "The Virtual Semester". Although Brewer students are always encouraged to work at there own pace and at the times of the day and week that are convenient to them, we are implementing a simple plan that will allow students more interaction with each other and an even greater focus of our incredible faculty and staff.
